Rock'n'roll at Holy Cross Hall

Over the weekend, our Music Ministry put on two amazing shows of the Beatles sing-a-long concert. 

The team did a wonderful job of coordinating these events, and our musicians put on delightful shows for all those in attendance. 

Thank you to Kathy Villa for her technician support, to Fr. Bogdan for leading us in ‘Yellow Submarine’, to all those who set up the tables and chairs in the hall and to Leon for his great photos.

Thanks to Eric for arranging our recent Music License upgrade. This now allows us to play any recorded hymns at our Sunday masses. 

Previously, we were limited to hymns that were more than 70 years old and out of Copyright range.

 Now we can play all modern hymns, enhancing our Liturgy for everyone.

A further thank you to our parishioners, the events raised over $850 which has now paid for this new Music license. 

It was so much fun for both our Musicians and attendees, and we hope to make the Sing-a-long an annual event to help cover this running cost for our Parish.
