Sacraments at Holy Cross Parish

Baptism: This Saturday we are blessed to celebrate the Baptism of Ella at Holy Cross Church, and on Sunday at Holy Spirit Church we will join with the family of Stella and Mason as we celebrate their Baptism. Please keep these families, and the families of Matteo, Hudson, Matilda, Bronte, Jett, Arabella and Alessia also preparing for Baptism, in your prayers. We thank God for sending these beautiful families to our community.

Confirmation: This is Week 2 of our Confirmation classes and we warmly welcome back the families of the 35 children preparing for Confirmation. In their classes this week our facilitators will discuss the significance of a name; their Confirmation name. God calls each of us by name, for his own purpose, and asks us to trust in his plan for our lives. At the 5pm Mass on Sunday the children will distribute among the parishioners a “Presentation Card” asking you to pray for them. Bishop Anthony will Confirm these wonderful children at the 11am Mass on Sunday 14th September.
